Sunday 22nd November

Kent LRC goes to a very wet Lydd.

Note:

This is a new off-road site, its smaller than most, cost £20 and you WILL need mud tyres in the wet.

After 2 circuits we became very bored. Dymchurch is down the road, so make it part of the day out.

The only marshalling is done by the organiser, although he does have a digger to tow you out of the deep holes he has made. No visible sign of first aid or toilets or refreshments. Worryingly you sign a death waiver for your £20. Also lets kids do do-nuts in their parents Jeeps, when they got bored, so take care with children your take.

Potential to roll vehicle on side slopes. (See John below)

Organiser advises anyone interested in turning up at the next monthly open day on last Sunday of December to contact him first, so he doesn't have to spend the whole day waiting in the cold for someone to turn up ???
I did tell him that if he organizes a monthly off-road site he needs to make sure its open every time, else not have monthly meets.

John & Sean - Disco II

This is the entrance to Lydd Off-road site.

If in doubt walk this first, as was slippery and wet.

View behind us.

Looks like we weren't the only ones who needed a pee break at Dymchurch
