Pilgrims way has had this section resurfaced, and widened.
Still a bit scary, but not as frightening as it used to be - or as damaging to the farmers field, when everyone used to fall off the track onto his crops - apparently.

Pilgrims Way at its Autumn best, and near its eastern most end.


 

Rembers this lane John ?

It's the one before the sand-paper lane ! But is getting very overgrown, and shows no signs of usage for many months.

Colin's new limb riser's helped get through the badly overgrown lanes near Wye.




 

Near Kings Wood

KCC has installed lots of new Byway signage recently.




Does anyone know why the Byway in Kings Wood is closed ?

Dead end RUPP, farmer has placed a massive concrete block, other side of his gate, at the end of this lane, Between Chillham and Crundale.

Well its a very nice RUPP to drive, even though you have to do a U-turn to get back.

Crundale at last !

This previous diesel was a whopping 94.9p / litre - fortunately it was closed.

Back again next week no doubt !
